Date: March 9, 2010 Time: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Take the opportunity to develop your business through relationships! Bring business cards for exchanging with fellow business owners in the Plymouth, Canton and Northville areas. Complimentary appetizers, beverages, networking and door prizes! This is a free event.
3rd Annual Local Artist Exhibit
Date: March 2010 Time: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. March is local artist month! Stop by the gallery to view the works of artists from all over the Southeast Michigan area.
Date: March 12, 2010 Time: 6 to 9 p.m. The exhibit will showcase the work of some of Michigan’s emerging contemporary artists. The eclectic array of artwork includes paintings, pen and ink renderings, ceramics, photography and mixed media.
Designed to feature local artistic endeavors, this exhibition encourages public dialogue, understanding, and enjoyment of visual art.
We invite you to meet the artists at the opening reception on Friday, March 12, 2009 from 6 to 9 p.m. Enjoy complimentary light hors d’oeuvres and beverages and conversations with the artists.
Colored Pencil Society of Detroit Exhibit
Date: April 2010 Time: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. During the month of April, Lotus Arts Gallery will be hosting “Michigan Colored Pencil 2010,” a juried colored pencil exhibition and sale sponsored by CPSA District Chapter #104, featuring the works of artists in the Great Lakes region. Established in 1990, CPSA is the first and only nonprofit arts organization devoted exclusively to promoting art of the colored pencil. It represents more than 1600 members from 16 countries, many of which are award winning professional artists.
Date: April 10, 2010 Time: 6 to 8 p.m. Meet the wonderful colored pencil artists as we find out which one has won this years juried event. Complimentary light hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served this evening.
Plymouth's ArtFeast
Date: May 21-22, 2010 Time: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Artists will be present on Friday during the Gala Openings between 6 p.m. - 9 p.m, with some artists present on Saturday as well! This free event features Art, Music & Food in the galleries and shoppes in Downtown Plymouth.
Plymouth's Art in the Park
Date: July 9 - 11, 2010 Time: Times Vary Plymouth Art in the Park has grown to become the second largest art fair in Michigan. Held every year in July, this three-day event assembles over 400 artists from all over the country who display their work to nearly 200,000 attendees.
