For most of his professional life, Thomas Stiltz has worked as an art director, photographer, and painter. His experience with photography brings sensitivity to light and form. His strong sense of composition and picture space, combined with a flair of the dramatic, naturally lead him to create striking paintings. His purpose is to stimulate the viewer with feelings and emotion about the common, ordinary objects of our lives.

Tom Everhart is the only fine artist educated by Schulz and legally authorized by both Charles Schulz and Iconix to use subject matter from Schulz's Peanuts strip to create fine art. The Charles M. Schulz Museum opened in August 2002 and the following year November 14, 2003 Everhart had the honor of presenting his works in a solo exhibition titled Under the Influence. Tom Everhart continues to lecture around the world on the artwork of Charles M. Schulz and communicate the unique collaborative relationship they shared, as a cartoonist and a painter. To this he has dedicated his life.
